A little cabin in the not so woods. landscape photography kansas

As much as I love portrait photography, I like getting away with my camera to play and this old barn and cabin provided the perfect escape. Landscapes also give me a chance to play with post processing and new ideas. Enjoy!!!!

A gratuitous picture of my own son in the ONW Raven Pride Band

And that pretty much sums it up, he is the bass clarinet toward the middle of the picture, behind the dance team girls.

ONW Ravens Grade School Cheer Squad – Olathe and Lee’s Summit team photography

Gotta love the younger cheerleaders, they have a real knack for knowing exactly what to do when you say “okay, time for a goofy one now”.

It is C’s second birthday!!! Olathe family photographer

C turned two last month and is as beautiful as her brother is handsome. I have enjoyed photographing both of these cuties since they were born and they just get cuter and cuter each time I see them.

First Post with a shot from the new camera – Olathe Lees Summit photographer

I have had the new camera for a week and am loving the clear crisp pictures, so while I have been practicing with it with my family and kids (before I take it to a client shoot and look like an idiot trying to figure out where everything is) I got this one of Sammie.

Olathe Bridges

When I heard about this bridge I had dreams of taking seniors here for their pictures, wrong, I will try anything for a picture, but the number of tics aquired in the 1 and a half mile round trip from the car to the bridge means I won’t be trying it again. I love the bridge though, so hard to believe that it was in use just 25-30 years ago 4 miles of so from where my kids went to grade school (Cedar Creek Elementary) and I hadn’t heard about it til last Friday. Enjoy the shots, they may be all you see from this location.
